A young girl learns to find her way in her city thanks to a box of chalk. On the sidewalk, she traces the squares of a long game of hopscotch. This way she always manages to find her way back. Now, in box 143, there is an old man who looks like a genius. Lia intends to make him happy so that he grants his own wish, that of having new chalks. As the days go by, she returns to him, gradually discovering that he is a homeless person. As for the man, he is amazed despite his hearing problem.
